Q: Can we do activities with children?

A: The Maya Zip-line Expedition is the only expedition on which we allow small children (younger than 6 years old). It is important to note that a responsible parent or guardian will have to take full responsibility for assuring that the child is under constant supervision.

Q: What is the maximum weight for the activities? (zip-line, rappel and kayak)

A: 267 lbs. or 120 kg.

Q: How should one dress and what items should one bring to the expedition?

A: We recommend comfortable clothing with a bathing suit on underneath. An additional set of dry clothes, a long
sleeve t-shirt, and a towel are also encouraged. Please only bring biodegradable suntan lotion and mosquito repellent. Lastly, bring a credit card or cash for tips, photos, videos, crafts and souvenirs.
Note: To avoid the pollution of our Cenotes, we kindly ask you to not use any suntan lotion or mosquito repellent until advised by our guide.

Q: Are the tours suited for everyone?

A: The tours are not suited for people with severe physical handicaps, heart diseases, pregnant women or for people under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Q: What are the height and distance of the zip-lines?

A: The height of the zip-lines varies between 6 meters to 25 meters. The distance of the zip-lines vary between 60 meters to 210 meters.

Q: What is the height of the rappel lines?

A: The height of the rappel lines varies between 8 meters to 25 meters.
